Let's Talk About Violence and PeaceSample

Do you remember games like “Pin the Tail on the Donkey?” It seems easy enough on the surface, but when you add a blindfold? Then, it’s anyone’s game! That’s because vision changes everything. When we can see clearly, we’re set up to win. But when our vision is blurred or blocked, we struggle to know what to do. This isn’t just true for childhood games; it’s true for our lives. While life feels chaotic at times and peace seems out of reach, Jesus encourages us to shift our focus and keep our eyes on Him. When we do that, we’re able to see what’s important. We’re able to see His peace at work in us.
Today, find a way to put your focus on Jesus. This could be journaling, spending time listening to worship music, reading the Bible, going for a walk, or anything that helps you spend time with Him. Notice the way His peace meets you when you look for Him in your everyday life!
