What Jesus Said About the WordSample

The Word and the will of God
It is essential to live a holy life, obey the Word, know God’s Word, live in the power of the Holy Spirit, and choose God’s will in every situation.
Jesus said: My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are still four months until the harvest’? I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are ripe for harvest (John 4:34-35).
Jesus describes the following four things as the will of God. There are many more, but let us look at these four.
1. To believe in Jesus: For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day (John 6:40).
2. First, seek the Kingdom of God: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).
3. Obey God’s commands: If you love Me, you will keep My commandments (John 14:15).
4. Bear good fruit: To My Father’s glory, you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples (John 15:8).
What is the Spirit of the Lord saying to you from these passages? Is there something that you have to obey?
