Having a good friend with you can make all the difference in the world. Boring class? Bring a friend. New school? Bring a friend. Intimidating audition? Bring a friend. Having someone alongside you can make difficult stuff easier. It can make boring stuff fun. It can change the vibe of pretty much anything you do, especially when you go through something challenging. Sometimes, it feels like it is easier to keep hurt to ourselves, but when we tell someone else that we trust what we’re feeling, it can make the long road ahead a lot less lonely. Leaning on a friend during tough times can encourage us in ways that we never expected.
This week, pray and ask God to give you the courage to ask for help when you need it.

About this Plan

In this 3-week reading plan, we'll talk about the long road through tragedy. It's a road that is never easy but always worth the work to walk down. Will we answer every question about life's tragedies? No. Will we form a path forward by offering steps for every person's journey through hurt? Yes! In this devotional, you’ll find hopeful encouragement for your walk on the long road to healing.
