I love that Jesus cares about the spectacular miracles like raising kids from the dead and the unseen miracle of healing a fever. This miracle reminds us that no matter what you’re facing, you can go to God and ask Him for it. He doesn’t dismiss your seemingly small requests; He is attentive to it all. Also, we get a window into how Jesus works miracles that we can engage with. Notice that Jesus speaks directly to the sickness, rebukes it, and tells it to leave. Is there a fever, cancer, fear, or anxiety? Lean in and rebuke that sickness or spirit and command it to go! Don’t be timid or soft with sickness; take your Authority that Jesus gave you and rebuke it!
