Perspective Shift: Student EditionSample

The mindset of a Dream Releaser is as crucial as the heart. Philippians 2:5 urges us to adopt the same mindset as Christ. This mindset is not just about how we feel but also about how we think—about ourselves, others, and God. Our thoughts about ourselves need to be balanced, our thoughts about others need to be correct, and our thoughts about God need to be accurate! So, how do we cultivate this mindset? By renewing our thoughts through Scripture. As we study and encounter God in the Bible, we learn to see ourselves and others through His eyes.
- Recite this week's memory verse: "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each person esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others" (Philippians 2:3-4, NKJV).
- How does your current mindset align or conflict with the mindset of a Dream Releaser?
- What steps can you take to align your thoughts about God, others, and yourself with Scripture?
