Trusting God with Our Finances

Worldly wealth can be a heavy burden when it comes without peace.

Proverbs 10:22 says, "The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it." This wisdom contrasts sharply with the world's way of achieving success, often laden with stress and sorrow.

How can we, who trust God for eternal salvation, hesitate to rely on Him for our earthly needs? A trust that encompasses our spiritual lives should naturally extend to our physical and financial realities.

Many fear that releasing their tight grip on money will lead to loss, but this fear ignores God’s nature. He is not a “subtractor” but a multiplier.

Understanding stewardship helps us realize that by managing our resources in God’s way, we open ourselves to receive greater blessings and, in turn, bless others more.

Let's pray:

Lord, You are my provider and my source of peace. As I navigate my finances, help me to do so with the trust that You are my source. Fill me with Your wisdom to manage what You have given me.
