Real Hope: Identity in ChristSample

Our Identity Is Handwoven By God
There’s something so steadying and beautiful about this verse. It conveys such delicate intention in how God formed each of us. We’re not a rushed job slapped together, but something intimately crafted from our innermost parts.
Our very being is a work of wonder and creativity.
In the day to day, it can be easy to lose awareness of this facet of our relationship to God. We may not have known Him until later in life, but from our very conception we’ve held His attention.
There’s no escaping how precious and loved that means we are. No matter who you are, where you’re from or the situation of your birth, God holds deep affection for you. You’re the product of His handiwork.
To be ‘knit together’ is a work of patience and vision. When we consider our identity from God’s perspective, it’s something He had a direct hand in and picture of – there’s no paint-by-numbers here.
With this one verse, God says so much about our identity in Him: we’re valued, known completely, designed with intention, and crafted with wonder.
You’re precious in God’s eyes, and always will be.
