The Character of a Wise Woman, a 10-Day Plan by Allison DanielsSample

A wise woman knows who she is and is assured of her character.
2 Samuel 20:19a - We are the peaceful and faithful in Israel…
This wise woman is given no name in Scripture, but as we read her story, she identifies herself and her countrymen. She stated who she was, not out of pride or arrogance. She established her character among those in Israel who wished no ill will against the king. She was confident and had relationships with like-minded people who chose the way of peace. She distinguished herself from those who decided to be an adversary.
Don’t allow circumstances to diminish or alter who God called you to be. Sis, stand up and tell them who you are in God! Do not shrink back in this season. Do not compare yourself to another. God created you. God called you. God chose you for this assignment. Wise women don’t hide, but they show up for their purpose, walking in the fullness of their freedom in Christ Jesus.
Reflection: Do you know with confidence who God called you to be? Do your friendships and close company help further that calling or hinder it?
