The Table, a Series on CommunitySample

When you trusted Christ as your only hope of salvation, God's word tells us that something amazing happened: you joined what the Bible calls "the Body of Christ" - otherwise known as the church. The church is called the body of Christ because we are supposed to work together and carry on the mission He started. That's why the church is not a building or a label or a Sunday morning thing. It's a living organism made up of believers across the planet who are joined by faith in Jesus.
Can a person be a Christian but not part of the Body of Christ? Why or why not? What does Paul mean by 'we all belong to each other'?

About this Plan

Thanksgiving is a season of unity, community, and fellowship. We center around the table — the place where we gather to enjoy each other. We come to God’s table as a community of believers, bringing our authentic selves to receive all God has for us. This series explores what we can bring to the table and what God has in store for us when we do!
