It would seem very cruel and an unusual punishment by today’s standards, but we see the value God places on marital fidelity. When a woman places herself under the authority of her husband, then a divine union occurs - something not to be taken lightly or half-heartedly. Curses and favour are from God Almighty. Today, we have the power of God’s Holy Spirit to deliver us from evil.



Prayer: Father, I am humbled and thankful for Your Truth and Holiness. Your Ways are far above my understanding, yet, You allow us to know them. Help me and deliver me from any form of jealousy that would cause a separation from You. Amen.
