Will our forefathers’ sins impact badly on us? It doesn’t have to. First, let us acknowledge their mistakes, and then ask God to forgive these sins. Moreover, we choose not to follow such behaviour patterns but walk in God’s way. For the Lord has promised everlasting life to all who follow him.
Prayer: Lord, thank you that in Your mercy each one of us will be judged according to our own actions. Yet as the Holy Spirit brings to mind the sins of my ancestors, I ask You to forgive and cleanse my family from all unrighteous acts. I will follow You all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
