A Thankful Heart
Is it easier to think of a time you were proud of yourself or of a time you were truly thankful? I believe a faithful, trusting heart is a thankful one. God’s provision goes far beyond the bare essentials; He provides above and beyond what we can ask or think. Do you have a thankful heart? Do you appreciate the blessings of God or take them for granted?
Prayer: Dear Lord, our hearts fill with joy and gratitude when we count our blessings. You are faithful and generous to us in spite of our undeserving. All good things come from you. Real joy and fulfillment are in your right hand. In awe and wonder we come to you appreciating your unfailing love and merciful kindness. We give you praise and honour. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
