Deeper Relationship with Christ
Heavenly Father, I come before you today with a humble heart, seeking to grow in my relationship with You. I ask that You help me draw closer to You each day and deepen my faith in You. Please give me the wisdom to seek Your will for my life and the courage to follow it, even when it is difficult. Help me to turn to You in prayer and to trust in Your plan for my life.
Open my eyes to the beauty of Your creation and the wonder of Your love. Help me to see You in the people around me and to love them as You do. I ask for Your Holy Spirit to come and surround me with Your love and serenity. Lord, fill me with Your presence like a warm embrace and speak to my soul with words of knowledge, peace, and certainty.
As I open Your Word, may its pages come alive with Your truth, revealing to me the depths of Your character and the beauty of Your plan for my life. I pray for a hunger and thirst for Your teachings. May Your Word be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Grant me the wisdom to understand and apply Your Word to my life. Help me to meditate on it day and night.
During times of prayer, I seek a deeper and more intimate connection with You. May my prayers be a conversation with You, filled with honesty, praise, supplication and thanksgiving. Lord, help me to pray without ceasing, turning to You in all circumstances and relying on Your guidance.
Lord, as I seek You with all my heart, please help me to see You clearly. May Your Holy Spirit be my teacher and guide. I ask that You remove any obstacles or distractions that may hinder me from having a divine encounter with You. As I create a sacred space to set aside the busyness of life, please guide me in the direction You see fit.
Lord, I surrender to Your will and ask for guidance as I take this new path. Even though it may not be easy, I have confidence that You are with me every step of the way. Lord, I am ready and willing to go deeper in my relationship with You. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
