Are you good at building things? As a follower of Jesus, you are a housebuilder. We are builders of God’s house. God's house is the Church. How did the Church get started? Right before Jesus ascended to heaven, He gave His disciples a very important mission: To make disciples of all nations.

And that’s just what they did! They went to countries all over the world, telling them about Jesus, starting communities of believers. These churches grew bigger and bigger as more people heard the good news. The book of Acts is all about this, and the rest of the New Testament shows us what the early days of building God’s house were like.

We are just like those members of the early church. They sought to serve God and build His house. We can serve God with our gifts and build the Church!
