Thank God for Problems

DAY 6 OF 6

In Conclusion

We've reached the final day of our devotional journey. In this journey, we’ve discussed four reasons to thank God for problems. As we reflect on the four themes we've explored – Perspective, Presence, Purpose, and Promotion – let's take a moment to summarize the truths we've discovered.

**Perspective:**

Problems shift our focus from self-reliance to God-dependence. They humble us, reminding us of our need for God's guidance. As Psalm 119:71 puts it, "It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes."

**Presence:**

Problems usher in God's presence. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace, God is with us in our trials. His presence reveals His character, helping us truly know Him.

**Purpose:**

Problems aren't obstacles; they're opportunities for God's purpose to shine. Joseph's journey from the pit to the palace and David's rise from shepherd to king are examples of how problems refine us for God's greater plan.

**Promotion:**

Problems showcase God's restoring power and pave the way for divine promotion. Lazarus' resurrection and the Red Sea crossing demonstrate how God uses adversity to reveal His great power.

In conclusion, the problems God allows are part of His plan to work things out for our good, even when it seems contradictory. Just as Joseph told his brothers, "What you meant for evil, God is using for good."

Remember, God's grace is more than sufficient for each day, His love remains steadfast, and His mercy is new every morning.

Thank you for joining on this journey of discovering the beauty and purpose of problems. As you continue your walk of faith, may these insights guide, strengthen, and remind you that, in every challenge, God is at work for your good.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I place my trust in You because I know You are completely reliable. You, my Good Shepherd, I will faithfully follow wherever You guide me. Although the challenges I encounter are tough and often uncomfortable, I want to express my gratitude for them. I believe that even in these difficulties, You are working for my ultimate benefit.

In Jesus' name,

Amen
