Don't Worry 5 Day DevotionalSample

Day Five
Look Up
Promise:
Does worry add anything to your life? Can it add one more year or even one day? Luke 12:25 (TPT)
Reflection:
It's crucial to have a spiritual plan for eliminating oppressive thoughts. Identifying recurring negative thoughts and dealing with them can lead to transformation. You can't fight an enemy that you're not aware of. It's strategic to ask the Holy Spirit to help uncover any origins of anxious thoughts. The more you understand the obstacles you're up against, the quicker you can assert your authority and achieve one triumph after another with faith in the Word of God.
Prayer:
Father God, I am grateful to you for being my source of peace and giving me rest. I have faith that you are working everything out for my benefit. I surrender my worries and fears to you and place my trust in your loving care. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Declaration:
My resolve is not to live in fear or apprehension.

About this Plan

Worry is a human emotion that can overwhelm any person without an anchor of hope from Scripture to rely on. A peaceful existence is possible when we put the Word of God in our hearts. God's promises give us the fighting power to resist worry with confidence in God and His divine power working on our behalf. Trust is the eliminator of worry. © 2023 by Francine Pierson.
