Where There's Smoke There's FireSample

Reflecting on Psalm 66:10-12, we uncover profound truths about God's refining process.
God's tests are not meant to entice us into wrongdoing; rather, they are designed to refine and strengthen us. His purpose is to elevate, not to lead astray.
During refining, it can feel like a snare or a trap. It's like the discomfort of a tight spot. Yet, this process is intended to reshape, not to ensnare. It might be confining, but it's for a purposeful outcome.
The refining journey may seem endless, with some seasons appearing more intense than others. Just as a sculptor continually shapes his creation, God continually molds us. The intensity may vary, but His work is ongoing.
Remember this amid tough times: you can trust that God will guide you through. It's like having an unwavering guide during a challenging journey. Even when the refining process seems overwhelming, His presence is your assurance that He's leading you to a brighter place.

About this Plan

The age-old adage of “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” rings true with God’s presence: if it’s visible, the signs are present. In this 28-day reading plan, we see how God’s presence is symbolized by fire and the “smoke” that should show in our lives because of it. Note: This plan is based on the sermon series from the good people at Youth Pastor Co.
