In Chapter 18, we see “another angel coming down from heaven” with “great authority, illuminating the earth by his splendor.” This scene continues with a voice from heaven giving a warning to the people of God: “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins.” If we respond to the call to reject the Great Prostitute’s way, we will not be included in the destruction coming to her. In fact, we are called to rejoice over the destruction of Babylon.

About this Plan

The apocalypse ("uncovering" in Greek) that John receives reveals the nature of the world as it is and will one day be. Amidst all of the cosmic imagery is a Lamb and its army who conquer through the power of sacrificial love. This 8-week plan is written by the church and for the church as we seek to follow Jesus in the 21st century.
