Jesus First: A Study on EphesiansSample

Discover
Let’s take some time to read back through Chapter 4 with what we know now. Since Ephesians is a shorter book, we have really had the opportunity to dig deep into Paul’s writings on the topic. As you read through this time, pay attention to what Paul writes about service. Serving in community is an incredibly common theme that we see all throughout the Scripture, and especially so in Paul’s letters to the church.
Learn
Keep in mind the main idea of Ephesians 4: every member of the body of Christ is given gifts to help the body grow in maturity. These gifts, when working together, create a mature and full body of Christ that can stand up to the lies of this world with confidence.

About this Plan

There is no greater joy in life than one with Jesus first. The book of Ephesians teaches us that the gospel unites and motivates us to live for Christ. Through Christ's sacrifice, we receive God's love, forgiveness, and deliverance. This new identity in Christ calls us to imitate Him in all aspects of our lives, including our relationships and our battle against the darkness in the world.
