21 Days of Prayer & FastingSample

If You Knew
Today, as we pray to our God, He invites us into a life of faith with Him. When we look at the Samaritan woman in John 4, even though she awaits the promised Messiah, she gets quite stuck on her circumstances. As their conversation starts, she is initially confined to what she can see and touch. But faith asks us to step into the unseen and trust God in the process.
If you have been praying for something, and I'm thinking of those praying specifically over a long period today, why don’t you ask the Lord to give you a NEW way to see and trust Him? A new way while you wait & walk in FAITH.
When we get stuck in unbelief because we cannot see, we tie ourselves to our own limitations. This Samaritan woman asks Jesus, ‘Where is this living water?’ She has no idea that the water He is offering as He stands before her brings eternal treasure. It is so easy to get locked in the limits of the temporal.
Take the time to bring to God today all those things you are wrestling with when it comes to trusting God with the things you don’t understand. Be watchful. Be thankful. God is always at work.
