Welcome to the NeighborhoodSample

Sometimes when we think of worship, music is the focus. But worship is so much bigger. Anything that glorifies God is an act of worship. Literally. Anything. Worshiping God can look like not clapping back at your siblings, studying for hours to prepare for the SAT, or even in the ways you spend your money. As a follower of Jesus, our entire life is designed to worship God and bring Him glory. When you laugh so hard you cry, when you go on a run and feel like you could run forever or have a meaningful conversation with your stepmom. All of it is worship.
Today, write down five things you plan to do. Ask yourself how you can worship God while doing those things. And here’s a tip: if you don’t think you can…you probably shouldn’t do it.

About this Plan

When someone new arrives, everything changes. That was never truer than Christmas day, about 2000 years ago. When The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood (John 1:14 MSG), everything changed for everyone. This Christmas, we’re going to take a few weeks to talk about what exactly this means for us.
