For All PeopleSample

This verse in John reminds us of an amazing thing about Jesus: the fact that He gave up His life for us. His death on the cross (something we remember at Easter) was the ultimate act of love. As this verse puts it, there is no greater act of love than that! And it’s an act of love that began at Christmas with the birth of Jesus and His entrance into the world. As you think about what Christmas means to you this year, don’t forget to focus on the love of God that Christmas demonstrates.
Today, put this verse into action by doing one thing to serve a friend or family member today. As you do, thank God for showing that same love to you by sending Jesus.
