Good News: Pass It On!Sample

How do you feel when you hear good news?
Welcome to the first day of this really good Bible Plan all about really good news!
Let’s jump in with two really good questions.
1: How do you feel when you hear good news?
2: What do you think the word “gospel” means?
Really good bonus! What’s so good about the gospel?
Watch this video for three really good answers!
The gospel is good news for everyone. The day Jesus was born, angels appeared in the sky to share some good news—Jesus came to shine His light. You don’t have to walk in the darkness of shame, guilt, or emptiness. Forgiveness is for everyone who trusts and follows Jesus.
So, what do you do with the good news about Jesus? Glad you asked! Read Day 2 to find out.
Surprise alert: Every day of this Bible Plan, you get to read John 8:12. It’s great in every translation of the Bible, but check out the NLT version to get ready for a surprise! (Do not peek at Day 6 of this Bible Plan. But if you do, no spoilers!)
Pray: God, thank You for giving me Jesus. Please shine His light into my heart to push away all darkness. Teach me Your good news, and help me to follow Jesus every day of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
