Faith on FireSample

Key Verse: Hebrews 5:11-12 (NLT) “There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food.“
Devotional: Maturity is a key part of a believer’s journey. God loves us as we are when we first receive Jesus as our Lord, but He also loves us too much to leave us in that same place.
A baby that does not grow reveals an underlying issue. The natural principles of this world cause us to expect growth. When we become believers, we join a supernatural kingdom that is always growing: the kingdom of God. Likewise, we should be continually growing, going from being served to serving, and from being taught to teaching. God has more for us!
About this Plan

Our faith is meant to be consistent. It's meant to be passion-filled. It's meant to be on fire! This reading plan is designed to take you through the book of Hebrews to discover the Lordship of Christ and the consistency of God to rescue, redeem, and provide for His children. Those themes are seen in each chapter of Hebrews, with a reflective chapter from Psalms to compliment the reading.
