Finding Treasure in the TeachingsSample

In the parable mentioned in Luke 10:30-37, the priest is like our pastors today. The Levite is like a bible scholar who has studied and studied the Bible. And the Samaritans were just a people group that the Jews hated.
Read the passage with these descriptions in mind.
What’s Jesus’ main truth here?
When you see that someone is in need of something- what's your gut response?
When have you had someone see that you needed something and came through for you?
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you someone who needs something today.

About this Plan

Jesus, being a master storyteller, weaves truth using common experiences and images. The parables, when taken as a whole set, offer insight into how the Kingdom operates and what is truly valuable in God's eyes. Together we will explore the parables daily. With the guidance of a few questions and the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will see ourselves shaped into a Kingdom person.
