You Are Not AloneSample

Devotional: We should find great assurance knowing that we can literally give any and all worries to God. His devoted compassion toward His children is in His nature. He not only desires that we cast our anxieties on Him, but He also commands that we do so. Part of humbling ourselves before Him means bringing our deepest concerns to Him.
Prayer: Dear God, I’m so thankful that I can bring my concerns to You. Help me run toward You, not away from You, when I’m struggling with trials and temptations.

About this Plan

Grace has been on a journey to find recovery from her eating disorder she struggled with called “anorexia nervosa.” There have been various passages of Scripture that have encouraged her, and 1 Peter 5 is one of them. Not only does this chapter encompass deep theological truths that are foundational for believers to understand, but it also has the power to encourage believers who are facing intense trials and temptations.
