Many of the Psalms read like prayers. That’s because many of them were written as prayers! The writers were asking God to show them what to do. They’re praying that God would lead them and show them God’s will, or plan, for their lives. Chances are you’ve prayed a similar prayer. Maybe you’ve asked God for guidance, wisdom, or direction in your own life. The truth is, God uses so many things in our lives to answer this prayer. The Holy Spirit, the Bible, other people—all sorts of things can teach us and lead us toward wisdom when we need it.
So today, use this Psalm as a guide for a prayer. Pray that God would teach you and lead you. Then, look for who or what God is using around you to do that.
