Incinerate InsecuritySample

You’re Invited
It can be intimidating to walk into the office of your boss, your school president, or an elected official. Their authority in our lives deserves our respect, but often we fear them as well. After all, they can affect our education, our employment, or even our financial and physical well-being.
If it is a bit scary to walk into the office of your boss, how much more frightening it could be to walk into the throne room of the ultimate Boss! However, Jesus died for our sins; we can approach God boldly—not arrogantly, of course, but with a humble confidence.
Jesus knew His saving work on the cross would give us access to God. In John 14, He tells His followers, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” How does today’s guiding verse change your understanding of how God sees you? How does it affect the way you think about prayer?
As you engage with God’s Word:
● What is God saying to you?
● What does it mean to you?
● What action step do you need to take?
After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.

About this Plan

Have you recently felt “less than?” The truth is you’re a beloved child of God with an identity rooted in Him and a role to play in His kingdom—but insecurity and comparison hinder us from believing the truth. If you’re eager to incinerate insecurity and find freedom from comparison through God’s Word, join me on this plan. Together, we’ll discover and embrace the identity Jesus has given us!
