In Jesus’ Name for MenSample

Power of Prayer
Prayer is powerful. You might have heard that from a preacher, or from a friend who is passionate about prayer. But you might not feel like prayer is powerful. You might have been disappointed by times when you have prayed and seemingly nothing has happened. A lack of results doesn’t negate the power of prayer. Prayer brings you closer to Jesus because you begin to converse with him. It opens your heart and shows that you need him. It helps you think about others instead of being so focused on yourself. Restore your confidence today by praying for others and feel the power of prayer changing you.
Lord, I pray that you would be at work in the lives of those I see around me, not just those who are close to me, but also the strangers I meet on the street and the people I only see for a few seconds at a time. Please change the course of their lives to be in line with your heart.

About this Plan

Jesus said we can do all that he did in his ministry on earth and even more if we believe in him. This is no small statement! We were never meant to stay small in prayer or in faith. Take him at his word and begin to ask for greater things. In Jesus’ Name we can grow bold and catch a glimpse of the glory and goodness of God.
