ExodusSample

The story in Exodus Chapter 34 helps us see the theme of God's mercy and justice. Through Jesus Christ, God's mercy and grace are extended to all who believe in Him. In Romans 5:8, Paul writes, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Just as God reaffirmed His covenant with the Israelites, Jesus has made a new covenant with us through His death and resurrection.
How does God's character of mercy and justice influence our own understanding of forgiveness and righteousness?
