Preparing for the Power of PentecostSample

Casting vision is essential to leading well. As Jesus shared His final words, He cast a powerful vision. Jesus understood that for the message of salvation to reach the nations, people would need to go. Jesus had clarity about His purpose, and He supplied that clarity to His followers. He commissioned his Apostles (literally meaning sent ones). But this wasn’t the first time Jesus cast the vision for the Church.
As you seek to lead, consider: when is the last time you cast the vision to those you lead? Have you ever connected your team's vision to Christ’s vision for the Great Commission? If you work in a secular context, are you connecting the vision to a higher purpose?
Like Christ, the best Christian leaders understand the power and necessity of casting the vision with clarity and conviction. Communicating a clear vision will lead us to experience power like at Pentecost.
Action Steps:
Pray and ask God for His heart for the nations. Ask Him to help you see your Jerusalem, your Judea, your Samaria, and the ends of the earth. Then, ask him to help you be a witness to each one.
