How Praying for Your Husband Changes YouSample

Praying for him gives God authority to use you to be the answer to your prayers
One of my favorite scriptures to speak on is 1 Peter 3:1-2. This scripture changed how I showed up in my marriage. When I realized that my actions influenced the atmosphere in my home, my efforts reflected God's peace. I stopped being hostile. I stopped using words to scare him to change. I started allowing God's love to live out loud through my actions. I was open to God using my walk to draw his walk.
I became part of the answer to my prayers through my influence. I stopped allowing my husband's growing season to distract me from my assignment as his wife. I started being kinder and more gracious. I became his biggest cheerleader. I supported his work and his walk. I became a more passionate and joyful wife.
Practical application:
Please take a moment to ask yourself these questions, "How would I like to be married to me? Can God use me to be the answer to my prayers?"
