He IsSample

Take a look at the world around you. For some, you may see miles and miles of woods, trails, and nature reflecting God’s creation’s beauty. For others, you might see tall buildings, roads leading to hundreds of destinations, or even sidewalks full of people going about their daily lives. On a broader scale, we can see the stars in the sky, the clouds that either bring shade or rain, and even feel the sun shining and bringing warmth to the earth.
All of these things would never exist if it weren’t for God. He created anything and everything that we can see in the world around us and beyond. Imagine that kind of power! How does it feel to serve a God who is so powerful? Who has the power to create all things? And how does it feel to know that our God, who has unlimited power, chooses to use it for our benefit? Our freedom is His priority, which is why He wants to free us from sin. If you have a journal, reflect on these questions and write down the thoughts that come to you. Or feel free to ask these questions to yourself out loud, internally processing and thinking through your answers.

About this Plan

Getting to know someone takes time. It’s the same with our relationship with God. God doesn’t just want us to know facts about Him or only speak to Him through prayers sporadically said throughout our lives. God wants us to have a relationship with Him based on us knowing who He is. We will walk together through Scriptures that are filled with descriptions of God’s attributes and promises to help us know Him more.
