Power for LifeSample

In James 3, you will find several more contrasts. One of the contrasts he presents in this chapter, taming the tongue, is a very common struggle. James uses several metaphors and images to make this contrast clear. Today, reflect on how these verses may apply to how you use your tongue. For example, is your tongue producing healthy freshwater or deadly salt water? After reflecting on this, take time to pray using C.P.R. as a guide. (Confess, Praise, Request.) After your time of prayer, reflect using the Notes feature of the YouVersion App.
