KIDS: 21 Days of Fasting and PrayerSample

READ: “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”—Philippians 2:12–13 (NIV)
RESPOND: What awesome news to hear that God has a purpose for our lives. He deeply desires for us to grow in faith and closer to Him. We’re encouraged to obey God even when it gets difficult, which points us to an important principle: to do the right thing, especially when no one is watching. It’s called integrity. God is more awesome and holy than we can possibly imagine, and it takes work to walk in His ways and obey His commands.
PRAY: Lord, thank You for all You’ve done for me. Help me to be more like You. May my actions and words make you proud. Help me to grow closer to You, and give me the strength to obey Your Word. Amen.
