Face to Face With Jesus - a Lenten MeditationSample

Healing sometimes happens overnight while sometimes it's in stages over a few months or even years. The God who heals is a sovereign King who knows what to do, when to do it and how to go about it. While we cannot twist his arm to receive our healing in our way or in our time, we can wait on Him expectantly for our miracle. Expectation changes everything because it is an invitation for God to do anything to bring about God’s will on earth in our lives. Jesus could have healed this man perfectly in one go but he chose a two-step process. He involved the man in his own healing by asking Him if he could see anything. The man was honest about his now partially restored sight and so Jesus finished what he began by restoring his sight completely so that he could see “everything clearly”. What a gift to be involved in our own miracle. To partner with the creator and sustainer of the world just to see His Kingdom come here on earth. We can never take that for granted.
Questions to ask yourself
How has God involved you in your miracle?
Where do you need a full restoration as opposed to a partial one?
