What do you think of when you hear the word “peace”? One definition of peace is “a state or period in which there is no war.” In our world, we might think about war as fighting with the words we use, hurting people, spreading false information about others, and more. When we fight, there is no longer peace. There is tension, madness, aggressiveness, and more. But this is not what God wants! God created us so that we could live at peace with each other. I know this isn’t easy because living in peace can be really difficult to do with so many opinions, ideas, and perspectives. But when we live in peace with others around us, we can also show love to those around us. And that’s when others will see God’s love in us!
Who is one person in your life who can be difficult to live in peace with? This week, take one step to show them you love them as a way to move toward living in peace with them.
