"What Do You Want?" 

In Mark 10, Jesus asked a blind man what he wanted. This question almost seems to be mocking the man, as it appears evident that the man would want his sight. But Jesus asked him for a reason. Your desires reflect your heart and invite God to work on your behalf. Just because it seems evident that something would help you doesn’t mean God can give it to you. 

Do you want it bad enough to keep pressing toward it? Do you want the life God has for you, or are you willing to get complacent and accept where you are right now? The difference between mediocre and great is desire. What do you want, and do you want it bad enough to continue to ask God for it, seek His will, and stay diligent until you have it? 

Renewal Thought: Don’t give up on a dream just because it hasn’t happened yet. Keep seeking God and let the desires of your heart be made known to Him! Our God is a good God and wants to give you what you ask of Him.

Prayer: Energize my desires, Lord. Help lift my vision and my faith. Let me not be satisfied but help me reach for Your perfect Will. I believe my desires and dreams are coming to pass. I delight myself in You, Lord, and you are giving me the desires of my heart.
