The devil is not as scary as you think he is—he’s actually pathetic. Sure, he prowls around like a roaring lion, but your savior Jesus Christ is the Lion of the tribe of Judah who has already conquered this foolish wannabe we call the devil! Jesus has defeated death, hell, and the grave! Praise Jesus!

Remember and never forget that the devil’s story has already been written. The devil will sit in the lake of fire while you’re sitting at the feet of Jesus staring into the eyes of perfection. Jesus is the reason you have any hope. Jesus is the reason you have salvation. Jesus is the reason you have joy. Jesus is the reason there will be breakthrough. Jesus is the reason you will receive freedom. Jesus is the reason you will win. Jesus is the One who takes every single thing that seems terrible, and somehow makes it work for you, all while bringing glory to His name. That’s His power. The power that diminishes all other “powers.”
