CommitmentSample

In our earthly lives, discipline, diligence, and determination are required to find success. A committed spiritual life requires the very same things, as well as complete dependence on the Lord. We must get to know Him and the power of His resurrection. Only then will we be able to face the demands in our own lives and deal with our fears.
If we are believers, our commitments will often leave us vulnerable to the sound of other voices, to the judgments of the world, the temptations of the flesh, and the wiles of the devil. These voices are the spirit of the antichrist (1 John 4:3-4).
However, when it comes to spiritual battles, God’s Word makes clear who is in charge of the outcome. Therefore, while commitment involves taking risks, it also reveals the power of God. Once you’ve seen His awesome power at work in your life, you will never again doubt His ability to help you. Therefore, the greatest reward of committing yourself to seek God is having Him with you through the tough times.
How can I add more discipline, diligence, and determination to my life?
