Draw Near - PositionSample

Parents love to talk about breakfast being the day's most important meal. Eating is an incredibly important part of your everyday life, and the same is true for the Bible. It should be a part of your daily life.
You can be hungry for God’s Word. Think about the fact that you have eaten at least three times a day since you were a little baby. A meal here, a snack here. Your body is so used to eating that when it doesn’t happen, you get hungry! When you read the Word of God, you don’t start off with a feast. Start with a regular snack. Every now and then, try a full meal, and eventually, over time, your hunger for the Bible will grow.
The Prophet Amos said there would be a day of famine, not for food or water, but for hearing God’s words. Be hungry for more of God’s Word and position yourself to hear from God and draw near to Him.
