Are You Stuck? Daily Steps to Break Free

DAY 5 OF 5

Devotional

You too may feel like you’re in a prison of circumstance…it could be something you did or a situation that you had absolutely no control over.

Your only real impetus for change; to move from where you are, is to take hold of God and allow him to take hold of your heart and your mind. Ultimately, a change in these two areas will translate into better thoughts and emotions.

Yes, you’ll feel weak and wobbly at first, but that’s the awesome thing about God! When we feel our weakest that’s when he comes close to prop us up and give us the strength we need to take another step, breathe another breath and trust him for another day.

He knew that his ultimate prize would come only when he went to heaven, still he resolved to continually forget the past and to strain toward what was ahead for the rest of his life.”

You too may feel like you’re in a prison of circumstance…it could be something you did or a situation that you had absolutely no control over. But, in the end, your only real impetus to change; to move from where you are, is to take hold of God and allow him to take hold of your heart and your mind…which ultimately translates to your thoughts and emotions.
