Daily Bible Reading, November 2022: “God’s Renewing Word of Thankfulness and Praise.”Sample

November 26
Introduction
Today’s psalm affirms God’s sovereignty over heaven and earth and God’s concern for the poor and needy.
Scripture Reading
Psalm 113
Today’s Key Verse: Psalm 113:4
The LORD rules over all nations; his glory is above the heavens.
Reflect
Reread verses 4-9. How is God described? The psalm writer says, “There is no one like the LORD our God” (verse 5). What does the psalm writer say to validate this statement? In what ways have your experienced God’s goodness? For what will you thank God today?
Pray
There is no one like you, Lord God. You lift my spirit by reaching down from heaven and blessing me with your love. You are good all the time, and I will praise your name now and forever. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Psalm 24: The LORD is praised as the great king.
