Growing on the Frontline: A Prayer JourneySample

Practise – the way to keep growing
Lord, I want to be fruitful even in times of hardship and drought. Help me to so trust in you that I am like a tree planted by water.
The goal of practices like the Examen or PAUSE is not that we do them for their own sake. They are designed to aid us in becoming more fruitful:
- Reflecting on your frontline with God highlights the desires that compete with fruitful action.
- Receiving wisdom from His word offers an alternative to selfish motivations.
- Being Renewed empowers you to act as you surrender your agenda to His love working in and through you.
- And then you can Respond differently, with courage and compassion, with whichever M is appropriate for your frontline context.

About this Plan

This prayer journey is designed to help you grow closer to God and become more like Christ. To do this, we will reflect on the trials and triumphs you face each day – spotting opportunities to partner with God in bringing about His purposes, and overcoming our inner barriers to action by developing healthy habits and practices.
