Year of the Bible: Part Eight of TwelveSample

Right Heart, Right Place, Right Time
In the middle of some bizarre circumstances, Daniel kept his cool and found a way to be used by God. He offered his help to the king, and God came through and gave Daniel the meaning of the king’s dream.
Daniel's actions teach us to do the following:
• Identify a place to serve.
• Recruit a prayer team.
• Seek God's counsel and wisdom.
• Do whatever God says to do, and do it with an excellent spirit.
Question: Are you the type of person who only does a thing when God tells you, or do you jump in, rarely seeking God's input?
Prayer: Read today's passage aloud, especially verses 20-23, praying out the profound truths Daniel proclaimed after God showed Himself faithful.
