Through the Bible: RevelationSample

Worthy Is the Lamb, Worthy Is Jesus
And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, Revelation 5:9 (ESV)
Our verse for today acknowledges Jesus as our Saviour. His death on the cross gave Him the right to open the remainder of redemptive history and lead His people victoriously through it.
Jesus is worthy to open the scroll and reveal the future to everybody. Jesus is worthy of praise, worship, and adoration. Jesus is made worthy because of His death on the cross. Even though Jesus is holy, perfect, and heavenly, His sacrificial death on the cross brought us pardon, forgiveness, and salvation. He did this not only for the Jews but also for everyone of all races, languages, and cultures so that everybody could have access to His gifts of salvation and eternal life.
Jesus is worthy of our praises. He is worthy of our worship and devotion to Him. He is worthy of our love.
Prayer
Father, thank You for sending Your son, Jesus, as a sacrifice to redeem and save us. Because of Your grace in Jesus, we want to live our lives in devotion to You and Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.
About this Plan

Just as there is a beginning, there is an end. Revelation reveals how Jesus will come back soon to judge all evil, reward His followers, and restore the paradise He once created–a place without sin, sorrow, and death. Readers are promised with a blessing if they hear and keep what is written in the book. Despite its difficulty, this is undoubtedly a book worth our time to unravel.
