21 Days On The Power Of Prayer By Angus Buchan

DAY 17 OF 21

"A Vibrant Prayer Life" I am an uneducated farmer, but I want to tell you one thing: I know that God answers prayer. You can ask anybody who goes on our campaigns with us, it regularly starts raining at the end of a campaign. I don’t know why this happens, but I am yet to hear a farmer say they are getting too much rain. God gave Noah a sign. He gave him a beautiful rainbow. God promised that He would never again flood the earth (see Gen. 9:11), and He never has. God has given us a sign. It’s like the Lord is saying, “Well done, good and faithful servants.” That’s why I love Jesus so much. He’s more real to me than anything I can see in front of me. All He wants us to do is call out to Him so that He can answer us. How do you pray, how long do you pray and where do you pray? We need to lock ourselves in our prayer closet. Let’s take hold of the Lord, and not let go until He answers. When we pray an effective prayer, God can move. PRAYER: Lord, I rejoice in You. Thank You for Your great love for me. I want to have a vibrant prayer life – I want to spend time in Your presence so that I can be close to You. I realize that nothing can take the place of spending time with You. Amen.
