5 Days Praising God With Your PreschoolerSample

We Can Praise God When Days are Hard
For many people, it is easier to praise God when the days are sunny, relationships are easy, and problems are few.
What about when your days are dark? When you’re struggling with sadness, loneliness, fear, and stress?
It’s important to acknowledge to your child that hard days do exist, and they will come. Allow your child the room to express their emotions but remind them of the comforting and powerful truth that God is faithful and is always watching over them.
Say:
Some days are harder than others. You will get tired, you may be sad, or you will be afraid. It is harder to praise God during those times, but we still praise Him because He is always with us. God never leaves you. He always loves you, protects you, and watches over you.
Ask:
- Do you remember when you had a bad day, but things got better?
- Why should you always praise God, even when you are sad or scared?
Close with a prayer of praise based on your child’s responses.
