We don’t know exactly what heaven will be like, but we have some clues from what the Bible says!

The very last book of the Bible is called Revelation. Here we read about a city surrounded by a tall wall made of green jasper with twelve gates stationed evenly around it, each made of shiny pearl. The city and its streets are made of gold that is as pure as glass. This amazing city is the promise Jesus gives those who believe in Him. He has prepared a room for those who believe in Him. Jesus promises that He will return and bring us to this city where there is a place for each of us and where we will have eternal life with Him.

You may live in a few different houses over your lifetime or even in different countries. Our time on earth won’t be forever, but because we belong to Christ, we will be with Him forever in heaven. This is the future that waits for you and me - Heaven is my home.
