Choosing the right words when talking to others can be the hardest part of anyone’s day because we all say a LOT of words! It can be hard to think about every single word that we say.
I think we all sometimes speak without thinking about what we say and how our words might affect others. I know I do! This is why at the end of the day, it’s best to use kind words toward others all the time. Because our words are powerful. And most importantly, because that’s what God wants us to do! When we think about our words, we are also wise about how we treat people. Treating people with kindness and using gentle words is always the wise thing to do!
So today, think about the last three conversations you had. How did you use your words wisely? How did you NOT use your words wisely? Then, ask God to help you use your words kindly and wisely as you go through your day.
